Antique Art Deco Glass Belt Buckle with Gold Accents, Translucent Light Lavender, Etched Flowers, 1920s, 1930s Antique Art Deco Glass Belt Buckle with Gold Accents, Translucent Light Lavender, Etched Flowers, 1920s, 1930s: A beautiful Art Deco belt or sash buckle made of translucent, very light lavender glass. It is etched with a repeating square and dot motif around the edges and all around the interior. A row of etched flowers forms a straight line across the buckle. What looks to be gold foil covered all of the etching at one time -- there is enough left to give off a nice glint and sparkle. It is small -- only 2 1/4 long by 1 1/10 wide. The metal buckle in the back is tarnished but still very firmly in place. A gentle reminder; with all things vintage there is normally some wear attributed to being handled or even stored over the course of decades. Sometimes not!
